So I am looking to do a few things to my 107 Road Glide '19.

i have considered going stage 1,2,3 etc but after having a 114 w/SE stage 4 (117) on my last softail and wasn't overly impressed by it, so I'm thinking I might stay away from SE stuff this time.
It might be overkill but I am curious about the S&S 124 kit.

Im just wondering if anyone here in Oz fitted a S&S 124 kit to a M8 Touring who could give an honest review or opinion on it.

    Cheers in advance

Gidday RG-Taff … Mate there is likely more than one good shop down your way .. Not Dealerships .. I should state that there are a lot more dealerships using aftermarket products as well , but there are still a few Dealerships around that will only recommend Screaming Eagle stuff which I find is unhelpful when they won`t even discuss better options … but to give you an idea check out A.P.E. Website … Alpha Performance Engines , they are based in Gladstone … getting really good results with some of their kits … using stock heads and throttle bodies and getting better results than my More expensive S E Stage 4 setup in the RG .

I had the full stage 4 S & S set up in my 08 Softail , 96 to 107 cube … and I also have the Stage 4 Screaming Eagle set up in my 17 Road Glide , 107 to 114 … both were and are nice to ride .. But .. if I had my time over would definitely go with Someone like A.P.E. , as they and multiple other shops around Australia use different components to get the best out of their builds … for example the S E Stage 4 setup in my RG doesn't even run Adjustable pushrods , which is a bit of a bummer as I am seriously considering swapping out the 515 S E power Cam and going for a Torque Cam from someone like Fuelling Reaper Cams or Comp Cams or a few others I am looking into … which of course is a extra cost to the build .

One thing I would also suggest is Definitely go with a Torque Cam … My 17 RG Stage 4 is getting 129 Hp and 121 Torque … Happy Dyno , I have no idea …  not to shabby and feels great in the mid to high range but realistically we are not always riding in the mid to high range … definitely a personal choice though .

Darling Downs Harley also have a few Vids to get an idea … another place out of USA to suss out is Moonshine Harley Davidson , heaps of reviews and bike builds to confuse the Shit out of you … Lol … of course there are hundreds of Vids on YouTube to go through as well .

Let us know how you end … Cheers .

    Taff,
I ride a cvo 117 sg and just updated using the s&s128 kit with a few accessories to try and bullit proof as much as possible. Wont bore you with all the details unless you want them but more than happy with the result as i went with a torque cam and it pulls like a train, sweeter on the throttle and giving me more kms to the tank than std. I rang the dyno the next day and told him it was like compairing a lawn mower to a sowing mc. I dont think you will be disappointed with your investment should you go that way.
    Cheers.
