    Hi All,
Need advice, I currently have a Lower Rider 103, its be flashed with the SE tuner to stage 1 as its got a SE Ventilator air filter ans SE muffler. Im thinking of fitting V & H Big Shots with quiet baffles. Does anyone know if it will run Ok with just the Stage 1 flash or will it need to be tuned again.

Also what do people generally so to rego, do you need to swap over the exhaust each time.

    Thanks
    Leachy.

I just changed my V&H BRs to quiet baffles a few weeks back
I have the V&H FP3 tuner and simply dialled in the program that had all the specs for my SG and flashed it. Straight up more responsive at the low to mid
fuck all desal pop and still sounds loud but deeper.
I bought a 2nd hand set of orig pipes from old fella in QLD for 120 when they turned up they had never been used, brand new.
Got these just in case i get any shit at rego time and cop harrasment
    Cheers

    Thanks Slow,
I like the V&H BR's too but need to keep the pillion pegs.

It seems it would be easier with the FP3 but I have the orange SE tuner. Local HD said if they fitted them as the bike is still under warranty they said it didnt need to be modfied.

    Thanks Leachy

    Hi Leachy
I am a bit on the side of DIY with my attitude but can you just shove some chicken wire behind your baffles, until she's quiet enough do the rego then remove again.

Yeah I guess thats always and option, but I don't think anything will get the dB's down to legal limits on those pipes.
I was looking at the Freedom pipes but they are few hundred more, so why pay the extra. Its also a little limited for options if you want to keep the pillion pegs.

    Thanks all.
