Have you checked your PSA prostate reading

My brother told me he has prostate cancer, he told me because he has it, and my Dad also had it GO get it checked. It takes 10 minutes to have a blood test and PSA reading, I had the test 3 weeks ago, I am writing this sitting in the hospital waiting for a biopsy.
As my PSA reading is high, my brother now had prostate cancer in his spine, ribs, and pelvis. My biopsy will show that I have the cancer also but thanks to my brother it will be small and can be removed.
My brother may very well have saved my life.

I am posting for my HDF brothers
Check your PSA it takes a simple blood test and it free

Doc makes me get annual blood tests, PSA is one.

I had the radical prostatectomy surgery last December, picked it up early & got it out soon as I could.
My message to my mates is the same as yours, get it checked annually

Unfortunately blokes are still dying from this

Hope it all goes well Bloodog. Good advice you give there, I have regular PSA tests also.

Home with the feet up, will get results in about 10 days
Got to say it's amazing watching how professional's work so well together when the pay grade is so high. Very nice people from the start to finish

You're terrible Muriel :).

Regular tests here as well, a small price to pay for peace of mind after seeing a number of people I know get it.

A simple blood test 5 years ago would have avoided my radical prostate surgery
MANY READING THIS WILL HAVE HIGH PSA and not know, there are no symptoms
GET A SIMPLE BLOOD TEST

When you put it like that BD it makes a lot of sense. I was at the quack last week for something fairly trivial but he suggested that I get my blood checked.
Everything was ok except for slightly high cholesterol.
Getting the blood test done is easy .

Jeezus mate , maybe I`m ignorant but why are there incisions up so high in stomach , my last blood test was a little up there 3.3 so my Doc made a follow up Consult with the specialist next month . My Brother in law also had the op you had but unfortunately it had spread so he has had Radiation treatment as well . nasty shit ! I wish you a speedy recovery

Not sure why all the holes or were they should be, I can say I am glad I never woke up during the operation to see 6 big black rods moving around in my stomach.

There is a new technique now done by a machine called the Da Vinci. I had it for my kidney surgery.

Wow! I checked out a video on that Da Vinci machine, Fuck that`s Hideous, but less invasive they say ?
