I have a 2010 Heritage and the other day it gave a backfire through the air cleaner, motor is a 96 cube and supposedly redone to a 103 cube and a stock, i think, air cleaner and also has a set of V & H's on it. Bike was running well, apart from some horrific sounding starts, and when i took it around to the mechanic we done a few starts and then the backfire. Riding around a bit it was like the throttle was on cruise control, holding the revs higher than idle. Eventually dropped down when i got home, now i have the code which returns when you fire it up, none of the other codes cane back, any ideas ?

P0661 is for the intake "flap" solenoid.

Wont cause a hanging idle.

Was it unplugged at some stage ?
