Been keen for those!  Must be lovely to have the luxury of a knurled spot on the bars too.
SO.... Will these work on a set of bars with no Knurling?  (ie like mine)

Not cheap (but not skyhigh like some of the wanky brands).
Purchased from Italy as they are the only crowd making them.  Agree they could do with Knurling as thats sloppy, but I indexed them with a pin in the end.  Next set (I bought 2 sets) will be narrowed and welded to the risers.

I always had that problem with my old sporty. My solution was 13" risers and drag bars. This looks like a good option though.

Paulybronco your idea was somewhat interesting (I bet you wouldn't do it again if you don't have to),
but I can't picture how you manage to cut down an old push bike tube to solve the problem...

The answer is very simple.....i use scisssors! . And its not retricted to a pushbike tube you can use any pnematic rubber tube.

so far with the 2003 sporty zero problem, I don't think over the years I have had that problem using stock Harley bars & clamps.
a mate that had a springer Evo softail, that had ape hangers, had that problem all the time, so drilled small hole & put an Allen head through the bar & clamp. stopped it slipping!!

I like your bars too Tussuck!

What are these magnificent little gadgets manufactured from mate?
The ones with the high tensile strength and the high compression ratio? (It says that in the video clip)
You have obviously put the said little gadgets through a rigorous research and development and testing program but if you  had just asked on the forum  we could have saved you the trouble.
Emery tape works in all conditions,  rain hail or shine. Always has, always will.
Just out of curiosity,  how much are you charging for these gadgets?

Why did you join this forum  unc?
To  establish a relationship with hopefully some new customers and maybe sell some of your amazing little gadgets?
How is that working out ?
Or did you join because you were getting bored with being speedy  / 103  etc?

Come on BB. Be nice. UC has nothing to do with those 2 identities. He's been with us for a while. Not everything is a conspiracy. Even you are finding your way with the different types of personalities on the forum. He is a legitimate product distributor and made a small mistake with his wording and appreciation of "sandpaper".

Why has he deleted all his posts?
    Smells fishy to me.

    Thanks Magnum!
I thought it looked very cool the way I did it but got some issues with the"Men in blue"at times ...apparently the bike was"too loud"...
Definitely didn't need a horn LOL!If anyone is "musically inclined"Panhead  engines sounds really nice(but also like the big Flatties)...
I'm trying to negotiate a 65 Engine from one of my mates for another old school project (can't tell the missues atm LOL)...will share the build
    eventually...
    Thanks for your input!
