Any opinions on the 114ci Heritage Softail was going to get another CVO SG but deciding on a Heritage Softail for something different.

I don’t think they are the classic beauties their predecessors were. Bit too plain. Not entirely sold on the soft bags over hard. Screen looks cheap. No crash bars. The front wheel looks heavy and only has one? Rotor.
If you had an m8 Sg And you want performance I’d get that worked on. Otherwise rk?  The bastard offspring of a streety and a heritage.

Took a test ride, I definitely prefer the old twin cam. Also what’s with the adjustable rear suspension system. On other M8 Softails the adjuster is exposed on the right side of the frame but on the M8 Heritage, the very bike where you might like to regularly adjust your suspension due to changes in luggage and pillion, the control’s under the seat, Duh?

I often wondered about the Saddle Bags and not a fan of the blacked out look on the 2020 models, see what 2021 brings out.
I'll take one for a ride on my next trip to Melbourne while a set of tyres are being fitted to my Fatboy.
Also a RK if available, I don't mind the RK Specials.

I think you should test ride ( a long one & with all types of riding situations you normally ride in ) but thought I'd say, a guy I ride with got a 2020 , Fat Boy & fitted s&s 2 into 2 pipes it looks ok to me but, don't sound like a Harley ( but who cares if I feels good to ride!!)

Leaning towards a Road King now, probably a special and change the hard bags to leather bags plus a few other additions.
Will test ride both and decide from there.

I’ve had my Electra Glide for 13 yrs, and I’ve had my 2018 heritage for 18 months.
The heritage is much easier to manoeuvre when you’re sitting on it.
Handles better and is comfortable on long distances.
I love it. Still can’t part with my old EG though.
