  Hi guys,

  Got the new bike a few weeks ago,  Roadking Special,  and noticed at 4000rpm and 180 it won't go any more.  Dealer said speed limiter is turned off.  At them numbers it's only on about 1/3 throttle.  Any thoughts?

  Does it rev past 4000rpm in other gears?

  Two mates hired new road kings with 6 speed GB , in USA road Canada to LA & back, they said they were slow & could not pull 6th gear, went faster in 5th gear.

  mate ya hand,  righty I'd say is near the stops, 180kms per . 

  My old barstead 2012 103 can soup at all day--- 205 km.per.hour. But thats it man.

  it is maybe resticted in some way?

  Yeah,  revs past 4000rpm in other gears.

  What engine config, all the rest a the whats and some very clever people on this site may be able to assit?

  Does it have a break-in setting in the ECU?  If the mileage is still low and in breakin mode I would not be trying to bounce the RPM needle; but its not my bike.
  

  180 though!  fark my stock sporty would give you a good go. lol - ask for a refund

  Yeah that's what l'm thinking.   Maybe have to have the tech have a play with it.

  So does it have an aftermarket ECU/Tuner installed?

  It has been tuned with a maximus tuner from the dealer,  all l have is the tune key (usb)

  I have one that came with the Stage 1 kit on my Sport Glide. It is keyed to the bike and I take it in when I go for servicing.

  All good now,  Dealer tech done a re-tune and no more speed limiter.
