    And another of his GT750s:

Put a bit better looking bikini fairing on that and it would be very cool.

Take a reasonably ugly 2-stroke and make it uglier:

    Would own that no issues

Again, a slightly less weird looking fairing and that's a cracker.

For a 1930 motorcycle you could argue this Henderson was ahead of it's time. Wonder if the guy who designed it is the grandfather of whoever designed the ugly Victory Vision bagger.

Paul Hallam came from good a pedigree, his dad worked with Brabham and Repco back in he day so I guess he was destined for engineering greatness.

Neil Btitten was another and there is a great doco on him and how he built he bike in his shed including pouring his own engine cases etc, worth a look.
Some thought the bike was ugly but many thought it was awsome including me.
First bike to have ground effects if I remember right?
    Fuck did it go.

I watched the Britten race at one of the last Easter races at Bathurst.
Going up mountain straight it was walking past the Australian factory works fzr 1000’s in the arai 500 event.
    Mad bit of gear.

If I remember right Andrew Stroud was riding it and he cracked and held a wheelstand all the way up mountain straight and was toying with all the other bikes.
Was in the pits that meet and was amazed at the team clutch starting it on a 5 ft wide set of rollers being run by the back wheel of a car.
    Cool shit.
Still got an Arai 500 patch in he garage somewhere.

    Kettenkrad?

I reckon you have achieved the impossible, found something that corners worse than a stretched and lowered bagger.

Don't know, but a Cholo Kettenkraftrad would be a weird project.

Not entirely convinced that contraption qualifies as a motorbike.

Not entirely convinced that contraption qualifies as a motorbike.

    Neither am I BB.
It is hard to imagine that turning the handlebars would make any difference to where those tracks wanted to go.
Wonder where the rider/driver actually sits too?
It would be interesting to see a review of this machine when it was first released.
Looks like it should have guns as well.
I would like one in the shed very much.

    Interesting shot James.
So riders lower half of body is inside the contraption.
Wonder if the guy on the back is somehow helping to control the tracks?. Or maybe he is ready to leap clear of the thing.
Modern quad bikes are soon to be banned due to rollover deaths.
Would not fancy ones chances of survival rolling the above machine.

I reckon these machines were designed for people with no legs.
The dude on the back is only there to help the driver get on and off.

Slight turning of the handlebars does in fact steer it. But tight turns are achieved by when turning the bars hard causing the tracks on opposite side to brake. Just like a tank.

And the worse looking Bimota ever produced

Well, not so sure about that, this Bimota is rather confronting to the eye.
