    I am pretty sure some of the  the NFL (American  Football )players have been kneeling when they play the National Anthem  before the game.  
    I think  it has been happening for a few years now by  black players. A protest of some sort but I dont know exactly what. 
    I remember Trump saying they should be sacked if they do it.
    Pretty sure it was only a minority that were doing it  but sure as shit they will all be doing it when they start playing again.

    Poor old Trump was talking to a half empty stadium. He reckons if they didnt test so many people there would be less cases.
    His logic seems sound to me.  The yanks will be thinking thats right Donald !  If we dont get tested we dont got it.

    President Donald Trump is for the first time floating a "delay" to November's US presidential election, as he makes unsubstantiated allegations that increased mail-in voting will result in fraud.
    The dates of federal elections – the Tuesday after the first Monday in November – are enshrined in federal law and would require an act of Congress to change. The Constitution makes no provisions for a delay to the January 20, 2021 presidential inauguration.
    Trump tweeted on Thursday: "With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???"
    There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud through mail-in voting, even in states with all-mail votes. Five states already rely exclusively on mail-in ballots, and they say they have necessary safeguards in place to ensure that a hostile foreign actor doesn't disrupt the vote.
    Election security experts say that all forms of voter fraud are rare, including absentee balloting.

    Trump has increasingly sought to cast doubt on November's election and the expected surge in mail-in and absentee voting as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. And Trump has called remote voting options the "biggest risk" to his reelection.

    I agree mag54 there is too many people "in charge" but ultimately the premier is the leader and needs to be the person to lead and make enforceable hard calls for his state. He now faces a further distraction with some anti maskers about to rally at 10am.....Anti-mask protesters gathering in Melbourne.

    Just been watching the news .  Both Trump and Biden are claiming victory .
    Meanwhile their respective supporters are punching on out on the streets.
    This could get messy.   Thank fuck I live in Australia.
