Pauly, do yourself a favour and don't click on News.com.au stories, I've stopped. It's a clickbait trouble making negative piece of shit website and a total disgrace even by the low standards of the mainstream media.

Quoting paulybronco on 17 Jun 2020 12:15 AM

Absolutely agree but regardless still does makes the story any less real. As for the perception of mainstream media who is that anymore, they are all pushing some form of slant or bias towards either a political view or racial agenda

Agree but they give oxygen to often very small minority opinion (twitter outrage as one example or numerous greenies/doogooders), all aimed at sheeple to try to make a non story a story to generate clicks for their shitty website and/or sales for their newspapers and hence revenue.
I often say the commercial media aren't your friend, they're a business that sells advertising to make their very rich owners and shareholders richer and sadly they've got to a point where they'll do just about anything to achieve that.
Smokey's opinion above is spot on also, there was a meme early on in the pandemic which said "shut down the world's media for thirty days and watch eighty percent of the world's problems disappear", pretty damn true.

And despite that, I’ll bet the snow was only better for the following week before the elves got lazy and complacent again. The punishment and abuse needs to be regular and consistent in order to get good work outcomes moving forward.

Yes, for slacking off at work a suitable severe punishment of the individual elf needs to be carried out. This should be displayed in front of the other elves (for example confiscating an elf's mobile phone for 1 hour). This will also be effective in maintaining the general discipline moving forward.

what is happening around the world  will continue to happen untill ....
    1 - Education.
for all people and the best place to start would be the very top !!
    2 - harsher penalties .
for those who do wrong !
The world is outta control and imo alot of people ( not all people )  of today have little to no  respect...
As For Us Here In Aus
The Australian government don't want us Aussies to be racist YET ..... There is 1 question that gets asked on all Australian government paperwork..
    Q - Are you ..,
    1 - Aboriginal
    2 - torrest strait
    3 - Other
What's it fucking matter ?? It's should be fair across the board
if that's not being racist then what is , the government are the ones who start the racial tension her in Aus...

at work tonight and thios discussion came up about the AFL teams all doing the politicall correct support of going down on one knee in support of Black Lives Matter

    the question was asked

Who are they really supporting, the BLM movement or the police, are they reinacting the moment that started it all?

it appeared to me to be symbolic of the moment and acknowledging the black power movement of the 70'......i may be way off the mark.

Exactly, more let's be seen to be doing something bullshit virtue signalling by the AFL and then The Front Bar showed it Wednesday night and praised it. Both have absolutely no business getting involved in it at all, they're sport and entertainment, not political movements which is exactly Sam Newman's argument and has been for some time.
Two more things I can't watch anymore, any AFL and sadly now The Front Bar.

This is pretty sad, I don't know if any of you guys saw it in the mainstream media (I can't imagine so as it doesn't fit the current agenda) but I knew nothing about it. There is a thread about it on Yellowbullet, this was posted in there by one of the members from NZ.

sorry guys, was passably a little cryptic

the down on one knee could be simulating having a man (in this case African-American) under the said knee

the AFL are taking the piss of it all and don't even know it
