Lol … Thanks Steelo … was trying to get a pic of the side covers that are in the Gallery but couldn`t work out to upload them … any ideas .

I have them posted in another thread called .. "Stretched Saddle Bags" .. so I suppose that will have to do .

Got a Chin Spoiler going on soon … more than likely will go with the bottom section of the Harley CVO Chin Spoiler as the Advan Black ones only fit up to 16 models , they are doing some for newer ones but unfortunately they won`t fit over the Fan assisted oil cooler which I have … should just about finish this project then … Retired now so have to watch my pennies after loosing a few Grand with this Virus crap … Bloody stock markets .

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it as yet … BUT , Free shipping IS included in Advan Black products to Australia … if you go on their site and check USA prices then convert to Aus Dollars it works out what they say .

I have a bit of Advan Black stuff … Side Covers … Stretched Bags … Stretched Fenders … Never had an issue , approximately 4 to 6 weeks delivery and Very Good Colour match and Very well made .

While Harley stuff is fine it is Crazy expensive compared to Advan Black stuff … Some have said the paint chips easy , I have not found that to be the case with my stuff … pic below is with Stretched Bags … do have a pic with the side covers in my Gallery but can`t work out how to upload / download them .

I realise their website is stating free delivery, however it doesn't actually say 'free international delivery'. The US oftens posts things free within the US.  I'm happy to be proven wrong but with the COVID 19 issues at present, moving anything from country to country is taking double the time and triple the cost.  With the size of this it would easily be $200+ for shipping (it's not heavy but bulky). If that's the case, then you get hit up for GST and import duties, your $799 USD pack is now $1200 AUD + 15-20% = $1400ish. King tour pak 2 years ago cost me $1600 from HD. At the time I did the sums and the saving of @ $200 wasn't worth the hassle, and if anything was wrong with it or damaged, HD didn't get their $$.

Is that knobbly tyres on your Sporty lucifer?
Why do you need to carry so much stuff when riding through the desert?
Where do you stash the tampons?

Sounds like a trip you will never forget. Where was it?
And what is your most memorable memory of that journey?

I stand corrected...it is free delivery to Australia (received an email overnight).  Makes this a very good proposition as it will save some serious coin.  Delivery times will be pretty average at present however if you stick to companies that run their own fleet of planes you will be OK, but stick well clear of USPS as they just use commercial airlines...and there are very few of them flying to delays will be massive - I'm still waiting for a very small box of chrome plated bolts and they have 'been in transit' now for 5 weeks (still sitting in Miami).

I recently purchased a set of lowers from Advan for a Roadking.
Postage was included which I was very surprised at. Turns out the lowers were shipped from China. Delivered within 7 days. Excellent quality easy to fit and perfect fitment. I personally would buy from again. Hope this helps.

I rang the dealer the other day about price to do the speakers in the lowers for my RGS, I shit when he went through the prices, near $3500

I told him straight up, nope, he said he is not surprised as the 20 years he had worked there, he has sole 2 sets to people that had the money to blow, to build a standard bike to a CVO cost thousands more than just buying the CVO in the first place

I will be looking at the ebay ones around $250 - $300 glove box

I cant spend the money when it is rediculess, I was more looking for the box's in front of my legs, they can be just storage and not speakers or at the end of the day, leather zip-ons on the bars, I have better sound from my phone into my helmet
getting my money back is also never been worried about, I don't think for one second this bike is an investment, this aint the 80's, resale will be a market value on that day, this bike is my retirement bike, so the last I will buy, living on a trailer behind the motorhome with the wives trike

it just the crap HD tax we have to pay for stuff out of the same factory that is 1/4 the price

Ya know, in all honesty, I believe I made a mistake in buying my Road Glide in 2012 , On the stand at Harley Heaven , for a period, and I woked in the CBD in Melbourne at the building in front on the fucken 31st floor, which used to climb higher than that up masts, but thats another story, Any way smoko lunch would slip next to building ArBecket street, saw this baby on the ramp. Road Glide Black, had my worked Fatboy 2006 from new, which shoulda kept , as we do. Any way got the Glider home realized had a fucken stereo, r, and even a fucken cigertte light. Only used the Radio to listen to Footy and cricket, give me a Road King anydaaay.....
