Is my 114 heritage as good as this?
    Don’t know, don’t care.

Reckon one of these would be slightly more fun than catching the bus. Rather be riding anything than not riding at all.

Fuck the Jappa's & the Chinks

I posted this after reading the new models thread which has harley dying, losing its customer base, selling bad bikes etc.
Looks like there is still a loyal following,at least for big cruisers.????? and also the learner bikes.

if you are going to ride it & keep it long term, do a lot of riding lot of k's, keep it over ten years. then it does not matter much.
think short term, you would loose a lot $. also if your going to ride the bike a lot of k's, don't be influenced by journalists, ride both on a long test ride, make up your own mind. But ask yourself, if Harley's are no good, why have we got so many tap Clone bikes?
A mate of mine who owned Harleys most of his adult life, went with a Honda HD Clone, put loud pipes on it & claims everyone mistakes it for a Harley, but I road one & no way it feels like a Harley.

Yeah, I agree , When i was looking for my cruiser there is nothing quite like a Roadking.  I had busted all me dirt bikes, rode my Susuki till it sounded like it had a tool box tied in the timing chain,  so i wanted a rock solid bike that wont break, and do many miles without the chain oil stripe up me clothes. Triumph rocket tourer , Close but not the same, the big hondas, almost a car, Yamaha not quite, Susuki not quite,Indian close ,but are they still making them.
So I guess I'm still a loyal customer.

yeah we are all different, with myself, I've mostly only owned Harley's ( mostly Big Twins ) for over 40 year's without a break, had a few Sportsters & a Carb Buell.
