another WA dyna rider

    Hi everyone,names Greg, been lurking for a while and thought it was about time for an intro.had this 2001 fxdx for a couple of years and slowly getting it closer to how i want it.doesnt go too bad.cheers

    yeh ill have to admit i wasnt either at first but its starting to grow on me.stock colour concorde purple

    all that matters is that you like it ,, people dont like the wheels on my sportglide but i do so no probs : )

    Welcome, man I’m loving the colour, especially as it’s true HD, gotta be better than the also ran black herd.

    A Concorde purple DX has always been on my bucket list of bikes to have. Very nice.
    Some sweet parts on there too! I've got a radial setup on the shelf but I sold my set of 13 spoke mags so now I cant run em  the 9 spokes are a bit wider, and you'd know how close they run lol.

    Thanks all for the Welcome.Yeh its turning out to be a good bike.Ive upgraded the suspension and brakes and bits and pieces and when i bought it the guy had already done a 95 kit in it but im not sure exactly whats inside it.I would say its pretty mild but well built as its quite quick and takes a beating.Ive got another kit here with barrels,heads and cams but a bit reluctant to pull this down just yet as its running so well and we are still getting a bit of sunshine here.anyway cheers

    You just hit a button man.
    16 y.o. in SA riding my A10 650 BSA in metallic Purple, with a squeeze horn, mind you.
    No, I don't bat for any side, but love the colour.
    Busstown is lovely spot. 
    Keep riding that lovely motorcycle.

    DarKasH69 im down in busselton these days after being overseas for the last 20 years and enjoying being back.Would you recommend any good engine builders down this way as ive got a 98" kit to go in.

    Yer def Mate.  But up in Mandurah. 
    Worth the trip to bring it up. 
    MMVT 
    Ando is top notch and has produced some big powered motors that have been shown to be very reliable as well. 
    Look up Mandurah Mobile VTwin on FB ...  have a chat with him and let him know what ya want.
