Well, I have no one to blame but myself, looking for some standard bars or a replacement if anyone can give some input.
I like the setup on as it is so looking for some second hand bars or a similar.

Located on the Sunny Coast and would appreciate any input.

YEah, I have had some crazy dances around the bike over the years putting it on and off that sort of jack.  I bought a full ride on one last year as im getting too old to try to balance the bike anymore.... That and a ride on roller dolly were the first things in my new shed.

I did exactly the same thing, i have the same jack. When i removed/lowered the jack it somehow grabbed the side stand and retracted it..
I have to give the bars a little tug to stand the bike slightly to get the jack out, thats when the stand retracted and i let it down, same result as you.
    Mine has the crash bars.

I have used this type jack for 10 years and not once tied bike down (my bike lives on the stand) I come in from the stand side never the side you are on.
When lowering i hang onto the left hand grip and rear crash bar and just drop it back onto the stand.

Got a similar stand Mickle and like you stand on the left side of bike with the stand extended and hold the handle bar
