Career criminal it seems. Disgusting, low life scum.
And worse, he is described as a mortgage broker.
Hopefully they throw the book at the pond scum. Not that they will comment but I do wonder if the 40kph past flashing lights contributed to the accident or the truck driver f*&%ked up.
There's alot of speculation around of course. But yes, a common thought is that the possibility of traffic slowed right down passing at the initial scene, then a distracted/inattentive trucky suddenly swerving to avoid the slowdown - full speed onto the breakdown lane collecting them all.
Just reading some of the comments on the Porsche forums. Many are asking questions about the car involved, mostly regarding the rego number. The driver is from Melbourne driving a Qld registered car with the rego LLC 001 which happens to be the same plate number that a Melbourne luxury car dealership that sells Porsches uses. It's been spotted driving at high speed around the same area for a number of months. Driver is known as a drug dealer in the area so maybe the plates are to confuse people into thinking it's the dealership's car.
Tragic incident. I have no word for the lowlife that photographed and posted it on his facebook...
This sounds pretty plausible to me.
The court today heard the mortgage broker from Fitzroy allegedly told a dying Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor: “There you go. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. All I wanted to do was go home and have my sushi. Now you’ve f****ed my f***ing car,” AAP reports.
