in NSW - can we ride or not??

    fishing allowed, hairdressers open, golf OK, Surfing seems OK as well. How about going for a ride??

    Don’t know about NSW, but in Vic the only reason you can tell the wallopers if they pull you over is 
    I’m out driving/riding for:
     - work
     - medical appt
     - school
     - shopping

    Other than that it’s $1600+ fine.

    My brother inlaw usually fishes out from Evans Head, he is not happy because he has been told he cant go out

    I thought fishing was allowed in NSW? Sure by yourself or at a distance from others but still allowed.
    Re riding, carry a script for riding around town as it’s plausible you are off to a pharmacy. But you are confined to city limits unless you have a decent excuse to go further.

    The boat ramps are being used & car park usually filled with trailers here on South coast... Riding, stay close to home & keep a scrip is a good idea just in case

    Qld you can ride but not simply to go for a ride. You must be either headed the most direct way to wk, shopping or doing an essential thing, Dr etc

    If leaving your home and riding only to return without any stops in-between  we should be aloud to ride as it's social distancing at it's best. 
    Even if you are to ride with a mate or 5 it's still better than being in a car.. 
    Just my two cents

    Kris dont think you would get an argument from anyone here...the claimed reason, the same as not being allowed to socially use my ski is that authorities claim it can potentially put emergency crews including Dr and hospital staff at risk in the unlikely event of a crash or incident. They are try desperately to reduce the numbers of vehicles on the road to keep every possible bed available in the event of whats going on in places like New york.

    Be happy to see the toll road owners losing money. 
    Don’t know about other states but in Vic we pay same toll as cars and light trucks.

    Apparently it’s labelled as passive exercise.
    I took the boat out last Tuesday to go fishing ,chucked a sickie on wendneday and went riding
