Finally got around to having the original tank repainted! Sick of the fuel light coming on on the peanut! The bike was originally and 883 Superlow that had been neglected! So last years winter project is finally showing fruit...lol. Decided on the Mazda Soul Red as the final finish. Will post pic's when shes mounted!

Bike looking good Steve. It must be your pride and joy now. Bigger tank will do the trick for longer trips. Any chance of getting / repainting new fenders and hanging on to the black set.

That mazda red is tricky. Be careful all the black sheep don't throw you out of their gang..

Thanks Steelo! Nah my pride and joy is the Breakout [well traveled and well loved]! This was a little project, which grew..lol. I must have looked at 100's of options but decided to keep the black as the main focus and have the tank as a point of difference. In hindsight if I went down the path of chrome and polished alloy I think your right with a complete matching tin set and chrome wheels, kinda like a 72. But as they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm Happy thus far! Cheers S

Red tank highlight is best, well balanced.
