I'll pull the 2-1 out of the back shed and take a couple of shots / post them tomorrow.
Should I also dig out the standard headers / mufflers / heat shields left over from my 2005 FXDL?

Loving this, to all you idiots out there who didn’t keep your stock exhausts etc when moving to V&H, bad move.
A few years back buying a used CVO from M&W, asked if they had the stock exhaust for the bike, salesman says yeah, what style would you like. Out back they had 50 or so systems left by new bike buyers who didn’t want their original pipes, he said they sent a skip full to the metal recyclers every few months.
Fuck, history shows stock bikes give better resale values. Sure change em but keep the original bits.

    Right on ratbob.
I also want to see this ugly 2-1 evo exhaust. My evo is a softail and doubt the wideglide type would suit, and scouaer has first dibs anyway. But still interested to see what it is.

In all it's gory loveliness.. ;)
The patch in the last pic cant be seen when fitted.
The heat shield is ugly AF but does hide the repair on the muffler seen in pic one.
Some fkr has welded the mounts on the front header and the muffler (not me!)
The end cap contains a bunch of Supertrapp style discs.

It came off a rat evo when I fitted some more pipes to it for a mate and the usual story "yeh, i'll be back for it later bro.." ended up like it always does..

The stockies for the Lowrider are good.
Headers are obviously used but that can't really be seen behind the good nick stock heatshields.
Mufflers have never been used, the bike came home from PS with aftermarket tapered turbos before the whole system made way for a SE branded Supertrapp in chrome.

Too rough for most I'd reckon...down to the swap meet if we ever get off social fkn distancing and events are feasible again it might raise a $50...
I asked a mate this arvo if he still had the one off his 06 but when he told me he had ground through the header pipes I figured it was probably no better an option.

Might post the FXDL pipes and some of the others I have gathered in another thread.
