    And boy did they show their true colors....you get to see them on your TV sadly i got to deal with the little spoiled children on a daily basis face to face. As mentioned on the reverse side are Melb Storm....absolutely lovely people.

    I might respectfully disagree on that point.....if QLD had not been the hub of the covid bubble there would have been no season and that would have been the only time a AFL season had been cancelled in 120 yrs.

    Well, they were living in a quarantine bubble Pauly. A long way from home, with lots of other people, and being looked after by at least one person (we know of, ahem) who thought they were twats, that'd be pretty testing for anyone.
    Do you really believe the Rugby League blokes are that much better?.
    I'm not on either side as I enjoy both codes.

    As was the Storm team and their families. The Storm guys are truly part of our work family and even have the photo of our work team and their team hanging up in AAMI park. Every staff member received a hand written note from a player/coach/football manager thanking them for their contribution at the end of the grand final.
    The AFL teams including coaches have never been taught the words "Thanks, is it possible" but often uttered "this is shit, cant wait to leave Qld, give me,
    Not one of them said thanks......ever!

    Perhaps like yourself, i have been very fortunate to be involved with and had one on one, albeit briefly in some cases with some well known people. Some are charismatic, some are moody and others are plain ignorant. I also dont care what they have to say until they are saying it directly to me, knowing full well that i am unable to respond in the manner that is most appropriate to the demand. To me a true champion is the unassuming person who goes about their trade without fanfare or drama or diva behavior. As for the AFL wankers ....you treat me like shit, you talk to me like shit..your not getting a thumbs up from me.

    It was a big win for Qld, dont recall anyone mentioning it wasnt. The issue was with their behavior towards staff and lack of respect for the people looking after them.

    Well I do not remember hearing of any issues with behavior towards staff or lack of respect towards people looking after them in the media when it was all going on.
    Not that I am a media fanatic.
    Got a few links to news stories of the day about these nasty AFL ruffians Pauly?.

    FC i know its very hard to believe now days but these things are handled in house via management and team representatives/ integrity officers not via social media or general media. Each AFL team had two specific "minders" as well as a separate integrity officer that these matters would be referred to. The NRL sides had none.

    Ha Ha no NSW players. They played well and deserve the cup...too good this season

    That's a fair point, I do not recall any of the commentators actually mentioning that.
    Similar thing in the NRL before the first State of Origin when the Wests Tigers beat Penrith. I stupidly thought Wests were a good team at the time.
    Knowing how Richmond have gone hell for leather at the end of recent seasons and won the flag makes me reluctant to abandon all hope for them this year. Not that they are my team but you know what I mean.
