Polaris (quad bike maker) just pulled up stumps.

It is a really interesting dilemma for the industry. In today's litigious society we seek to blame manufacturers rather than train operators simple things like dont go sideways up a steep slope ...something bad may happen. Just easier for the manufacturer to say goodbye to a very small market.

Keep your eyes on 26th 27th March for a further mainstream brand to withdraw from Australia...

I'm guessing your source is Auto Expert dot com dot au the place where Styralia new cars buyers can save thousands on their next new car.

If so then it's Honda you're talking about.

Really? Shit if only I could read.

Grease Monkey didn't pick your source. And given your subsequent post about "jungle drums" and 5pm Friday I conclude you have no inside exclusive just Auto Experts opinion.

    Wait.....are you really John Codogan?

    OK John. No worries. LOL.

It's a sad world when a major quality brand like Honda exits our market while crap Chinese made cars make in roads. Can you believe MG enthusiasts are excited to be able to buy a brand new MG here? A car which is made in China and has no DNA links to the motoring achievements of Morris Garages of old.

Seems to me what's happening in Straylia is proof that the zero tariff auto import policies are a failure. Not long from now we'll be paying top dollar for shit quality imports.

Who knows....even the Corona might make a comeback from China. Oh wait......

Wello its not a personal shot at YOU...we know you own a Honda so settle. The opinion i formed has been backed by the people not  buying  their cars , seems the factory agrees in the short term and looks like withdrawing.
I personally had a long relationship with Honda MPE over many years of being one of NSW biggest bike dealers. Like Nissan Honda has fallen asleep at the wheel regarding what consumers want.

i know it wasnt a shot at me hence the smiley face , all good mate .. just describing the civic r as ugly got me a bit bemused but each to their own .. we own  the new hrv ( wifes car) .. i own a cx9,  i was never really struck by the old type civic but i really like the new one and i wouldnt mind one to be honest , i love my cx9 but its a huge car just for me to drive around , even though i dont drive it much now , 7 years old and not even at 50k yet. .the reason i havent changed it yet is coz i probably would buy the civic and the wife likes them as well so she would end up bloody driving it all the while : /
