    Hi,
Been a while since I have parked at the airport and man have they changed things.  Pinged $100 for two days parking by the pricks.
Does anyone who regularly parks at the airport let me know what process they use nowadays as I'm not keen to pay the same rate as a car for marginal parking with bugger all security.
    Cheers

Sydney has got its shit together now with the trains that go right up to the domestic & international terminals.
In Melbourne, no such thing - you have to get a bloody bus from the city train station.

I should clarify... I'm talking about Motorcycle Parking.  They have rear number plate cameras now so has someone developed a solution?

    Lets not go back there...
I'm sure that the regulars have a way to avoid having to spend $50 a day for parking.  Can someone send me the tricks of the trade please?

Park for free on a street nearby the airport then walk or Uber?

Not too bad. But is the motorcycle parking price for open air or undercover?

I wonder where the bicycle riders park at Tulla. Oh wait, nobody rides a bicycle there.
Seriously to charge motorcycles the same rate as cars is just a rip-off.
I’ve been tempted to park in front of T4. Plenty of room there, but know they’d cut my 12mm chain or lock and drag it onto a flat bed tow truck. So have never tried parking my Harley there.

Didn't realize they were charged the same?

    Scumbags.

“Motorcycle parking is available in all Melbourne Airport car parks. A special designated area is located in the At Terminal T1 T2 T3 Car Park.
Motorcycles are charged the same parking rates as vehicles.
Motorcycles are not permitted to park on any footpaths, walkways or infront of entry/exit doors. Motorcycles that are parked illegally will receive an infringement notice and may be towed.”

So, I guess one could always print up a convincing ‘custom’ plate. Mine would be ‘NO1PAY’, or something like that.

I fly a lot and park at jet port, they have undercover parking if you request it and have a bike area. They’ll shuttle you to and from the main terminal as well.

Yep.  I'm looking to go Jetport or Andrews Parking this time around.  Undercover and I can tie my gear to the bike as well.
