The other difference was when we knowingly were breaking the law we never filmed it and played it at the drive in!

I'm no rogue scholar but can't really see anything wrong with shooting a gun if you have no license, you never even needed one in the good old days.
Or riding an unregistered bike on a beach. Only time I ever rode a registered bike on a beach I got hit by a wave drunk in the dark. Don't see what difference rego would have made.
They were the days, probably still played rugby then too.

Your absolutely 100% correct there is really nothing wrong with the above except we have allowed overpaid pen pushers to slowly erode our old values. The do gooders are more vocal than the "fuck you" brigade and next thing something you have done successfully all your life is no longer safe to do so.

Just can not understand the filming and posting bit. I always hoped that my family never found out about my stuff ups.

I agree, I thought, I've done same thing, but did not need a licence in those days. then they bought out shooters permit.
hope the season gets going without a hitch.
I saw Albury council winging about the Storms using there town. & up the road Tamworth welcoming the Warriors with open arms.

Whilst I don't disagree with any of your points, I do not make the laws. What everyone thinks is irrelevant. If these fuckwits think it is smart to do this stuff & post it online, they should be fired for stupidity alone. I certainly do not pay $500 a year rego for a dirtbike that never sees the road because I want to or think it's needed. I like the idea of a fine & points loss even less though, so I stump up.

In their defense I don't think these bozos (and others less or not famous at all) necessarily intend for the dumb/illegal shit they do and film to become public. I suspect in many instances someone in their circle of friends is either just plain stupid, untrustworthy or is maybe even genuinely unhappy with what their so called mates did and they allow it to get out.
Alternatively maybe the wrong or no privacy settings allows the trolls in the mainstream media who would spend all day surfing Facebook, Twitter etc for any bit of dirt the ability to find some of this stuff and spread it around in "the public interest" and it escalates from there.

And I agree, much of the shit we used to do with no problem when I was young is now frowned up by our perfect society. Times have definitely changed but it's not all for the better.

I hope the good people of Albury, particularly those that benefit from having a 50+ contingent of Storm players and officials spending a fortune me to be there, remember these pathetic attention seeking councillors next local election.

I’m happy to ref from my lounge room. Been doing that with passion and beer for years - and I will do it for 50% less then the blind incumbents.
Maybe get myself a beer sponsorship too.

Anyone want to be work the sidelines? I will obviously need to go to the fridge every so often.

I was hoping we would see the death of the current football mentality ,
Give the unwashed public football, and they don't care about any thing else.!@#$
The current crop of players need to be sacked, and the whole mentality overhauled. along with governence of what is actually now a private company selling entertainment. The game it'self( which was once a weekend club thing run on a shoe string for fun and fitness) has been hijacked by multi millionairs to make more money, under the guise of entertainment. half ( maybe more when you are promised at election time a new staduim) funded by the very unwashed public taxpayers .
I say piss the shit off and start again. Imagine this shit at the Olympics where real sport happens.
AAARGH fuk it I need a beer. aaaaargh , maybe i'll calm down by tomorrow.
I used to ply on weekends once when lang park was a paddock. For you younger people it became suncorp stadium ( paid for by the taxpayer) and is now a giant monstrossity on the landscape wher the great unwashed public watch drug fucks play "sport".
EEEARGH fuk it gimme anuther beer quick.

So reality has hit home to a degree....the two idiots who refuse to get a flu shot Brian Kelly and Bryce Cartright from the Titans , who are bottom of the ladder , have been stood down. But they now want the nearly bankrupt NRL to pay compensation to the club..????WTF

Cartwright not playing is doing the Titans a favour I say. Give a young bloke a go and encourage Bryce to piss off.
No job, no pay is good enough in my books.

Feel sorry for the Raiders but these grown men are making their own choices.

... and a little bite - isn’t skateboarding now an Olympic sport? If you want to talk about an irrelevant overpriced sporting event run by those with pockets full of cash ...
