Hi All, Happy New Year to everyone [albeit a little late]! Must admit was a little slack posting last year [couple of issues I had to deal with, having said that I may have had some Sporty questions, well answered..which was my winter project]. So back in August I decided to take the Breakout down to Canberra and back! Left Bris. at 05:30..got to Gatton and had to stop, fog was so bad [so coffee and a bunger till first light], crossed the border at Goondowindi then down to Dubbo for and overnight er. Highway patrol got me after the road works prior to Moree [$1.45]..after an 1/2 hour discussion about bikes I was on my way. Fuel stop and a feed at Narrabri and a copper parked alongside [he'd heard I was passing through...passed on a shortcut via Mollyan/Mendooran, plenty opportunity to open the throttle]..thankyou Sir! Left Dubbo for the photo op at Parkes, then off to Forbes..got nailed at 11:00am with heavy fog, another Macca's stop for coffee. Light fog all the way to Cowra for fuel and watching the Feds take on the local Indigenous members....turns out on the news that night the Feds were in town for the Cowra Breakout [not the bike/pow's] anniversary??? Made it to Canberra at 4pm day 2 and fuckin freezing! :-)

That fog is all smoke now in Canberra and not nice to ride in. The copper didn’t give you a discount for a good bike chat?

Copper said the ticket would take a couple of weeks, was in the mailbox when I arrived home..lol   $1.10, so not to bad. Beauty of it, pay the fine and no points loss :-)
