Ticked up the km's tog et the first service done, was about to book at HH where I brought the bike. My father in law said I should be taking it to All American in Ringwood. Any feedback or suggestions for best place to take the bike for servicing, I do want to keep the new bike warranty

All American are BLOODY good and know their stuff.
Better service than HH as well as being way more approachable and not full of themselves.
Its my goto place for stuff I cannot do myself.

Interesting article in Motorcycle Trader about All American Motorcycles, with Rick Thomas being the owner.

soapy maybe is more than just oil/filter and the listed criteria for that particular service, he does read as very passionate towards motorcycles,
Perhaps its the little extra things that make a difference, not sure never been there.
could have strippers out the back.

They all do it the same...(per-sec) BUT its more complex about that.  Choice of oils is good, availablity to do jobs quick, not paying exhorbatant dealer prices, having a tech work on the bikle who actually knows that an Evo is a bike and not a Mitsi Car model. etc etc

NoI use Rosnar Motorcycles in Oban Road, Ringwood.  Matt really knows his way around Harleys plus gives excellent advice.  I've been going there for six years now and would not go anywhere else.
He's on holidays until Australia Day.

To partially answer your implied question, I believe it is law that getting your service done elsewhere will not void your warranty. Get the independent to stamp your service logbook if applicable, make sure you get detailed itemized service reports.
