Mexico Run - Brisbane to Lakes Entrance Return.

Solid run over 8 days in late May, early June. Date yet to be finalised but initial date is leaving Brisbane on 15/5/2020. Rough plan as yet is:

Brisbane to Dubbo (O/N)
Dubbo to Albury (O/N)
Albury to Falls Creek to Lakes Entrance (2 Nights)
Lakes Entrance - Cooma - Gundagi - Bathurst (2 nights)
Bathurst - Bello (Bellingen)
Bello - Brisbane.

Got a couple of interested riders already so let me know if you want to do the run. Some of this country has been badly affected by the fires so our $$$ will be very welcome.

I did a trip last years from Sale ,lakes entrance to Batemans Bay , then Woollongong, the next day Sydney, putty rd to Singleton, next day up to Coffs them the next day Byron Bay , next day up to Maroochydore for a few days , headed back Brisbane, Warwick , Tamworth, Dubbo , Orange , Bathurst , young , Wagga Wagga , Wodonga, Bright and back to Lakes... Awesome 2 weeks

June in Victoria would be cold with icy roads in early morning tho.

Past experience would indicate cooler/cold weather on any give day or season. We will just be taking it easy when we punt up over the mountains.

Minus 7c in June/July between Mitta Mitta and Omeo, a must do road if down this way, this was around 11am.

We were going down via Falls Creek so that piece of road is doable. Thinking it will be nice and crisp in the hills.

Unfortunately trip south now on permanent hold until borders reopened and things get back to some normality. Dam shame as was really looking forward to some open roads and places I have never seen

get to early spring and the mountain riding will be good..with only a slight chance of snow up high.
