Hello everyone, I’m Ollie from Brisbane and I’m considering parting with my bike as I am going mad.
Could i get your opinions on a fair price ?
It’s got about 24k, stock engine apart from intake, exhaust, power vision and rocker lockers, has an open belt primary but also comes with the stock one.

Nice bike diy. Sorry you feel you need to sell it as you are going mad?  That sentiment could apply to most of the forumites at some time or another. Is there anything we can do to help?

My bike is the only thing that keeps my mental health in check! As others have already offered, I'm always available for a chat...

Yep Harleys are great for mental health (and midlife crisis!)....

Not so good for money especially if your midlife crisis sees you starting over somewhat.

Good luck whatever you do. Sounds like you might have a tough future ahead in the short term but you're planning your way around for upside in the longer term. Hope you turn that corner soon and find happiness.

As for a value for your bike, look on bikesales.com.au at your bike and other similar dynas and year models to give yourself an idea. Look at the lower priced ones with mileage relative to your bike as there are lots of dreamers whose prices are way too high and they're not gonna sell. Be mindful the open belt primary might turn some people off.

    Well put , flatboat.
wish you all the best Ollie!

As fb pointed out the open primary, could turn some off. But having owned a Harley with open belt drive in the past, I would like to point out to anyone interested, this set up has some good points for a rider, that likes to do it himself not rely on others or dealers. as if break a rear belt on the road. it is possible to replace the rear belt yourself if u carry a spare & the tools. also you have the beauty of a full belt system.

Hello Steelo, Paulybronco, Birtyyy, Fatbat and Krash Kinkade.
I want to say thank you for taking the time to try and make me feel better, that was nice of you.
I'm a bit better, I forget sometimes that I'm in good health, that I live in a free country and that i ride a Harley. I take these for granted but I am bloody lucky!

Last time i went under the knife, i shared a room with a gentleman who had his second knee replacement (not on the same knee, one leg gave up after the other) and apart from the post-surgical discomfort he was swell (the hospital had unlimited room service). He also mentioned that his first fake knee performed great.
Just remember if you go nuts with room service: what goes in must come out...
