  front Fournales shock on my Springer has blown it's seal and needs to be rebuilt.

  have contacted Bertrand ( fournales Australia ) still waiting.

  any ideas i where i can sort a kit ?

  or maybe, someone in Australia that can do the job ?

  Don't quote me but I think Bertran is dead. Seem to remember he died earlier this year.

  I have same or similar Fornales on rear of Road Glide, think they were called Magnums.

  They take quite a bit of pressure, like shitloads. My second pair on Harleys and haven't blown any seals, yet.

  La frog is in God's country, not yet with God, or so I hear, word is he don't rebuild them anyway, just replaces them, providing that is you brought it from him, if you didn't then he will help you not at all, ever! 

  Shit service for a great shock, had them on my Dyna, I will admit in that application there are better available adjustability wise but on my twin cam softail there is none better that I can find.

  This place is in NSW so not close I know but I am pretty sure they rebuild any shockies (that are rebuild-able). At the worst give them a call http://www.shocktreatment.com.au/

  Sheeit mate !

  Bad luck or bad news there.

  Personally I have always found the OEM on mine to be quite adequate and have never felt the need to change after 40,000 K's.

  One of the forum sponsors ( I think !) did sell chrome original "lookalikes"

  SOS suspension in penrith nsw might be able to help.

  He rebuilt my original shocks on my Electra glide, did a good job.

  i'll try for re-placement shock.

  my Shotgun rear shock blew the seals

  another brand new one ( lifetime warranty ) was sent from JD & Jess ( Shotgun USA )

  Still hunting info I did have on Fornales, no luck as yet. But might pay to contact Bertrand, who can be a little difficult to handle, but remember he is a Frog.

  Ralphski, sheesh ya blowin shockers there man, do you think you may have a weight problem?

  Fournales should give the frog the flick and get someone who is on the ball (not the bizzo) to be the Aussie agent.

  Agree - they are a great shock (I currently have them on my Springer and have had a couple sets on various tourers over the last few years) and I think if they would have sold a lot better in Aussie with a different distributor

  Pretty sure Maw said they couldn't/wouldn't send to AU no more as "someone" raised hell but there is another pommie mob that might, can't remember the name right now though, would have to look it up again.

  Ya know its is a shame the frog fucked up the Australian connection, as they are a good shock, not excellent, but pretty bloody good though, from my experience in banging em up and down..GSX1100 E , Fatrboy, Road glide.

  I find them so much better than stock, but that's my opinion only,  blokes.

  Has ANYONE , actually contacted Fourlanes , and let them know how hard it is to deal with this fella , I'm dam sure if i was the ceo of them i would want to know ,  i have heard so many stories about this fella being  , hard to deal with , right through to being an out and out cockhead ,  it amazes me they still have him  on the job ,
