Dead Rec/Reg, 10 months old bike, 15,000km.

    As above. 2018 FLHX.
    Not the end of the world, $300 for a fresh one and away we go. Didn't use the so-called 'Harley Assist', i.e. some dopey yokel skull-dragging my bike onto a flatbed.
    Anyone else done a rec/Reg?

    you paid for it ? .. wasnt it covered under warranty ??

    Yep.....its a common fault that was replaced under warranty in USA but of course HD Aust have never ever heard of it....replaced it with the same part number so fuck knows how long before it shits its self

    Yep Wello, it was under warranty. I paid for a new one.
    My local dealer has lost my confidence and the next best dealer would've added $300 to the free tow. I rather pay than have some dopey Towie cause $300 paint damage.
