Low beam stopped working the other day .   High beam still works.  Havent had a look yet and probably wont get a look until the weekend.
Just wondering if all I need is a bulb or something else is required.
I vaguely remember being in there before and thinking it was a sealed unit and the whole lens would need changing but that doesn't sound right.
Its a 2002 fatboy.   If anybody can confirm its just a bulb I need I can get that before the weekend.  Cheers

I'm pretty sure it is a standard H4 globe. I'll check for you.
Mines an '02 fat boy as well and I just checked an old globe. It is a 60/55W H4.

Thanks for that Oldy. My bike was imported and I think  its still got the original American headlight
The reason I say that is cos its got Made in USA on the glass and the light has always shone to the right.
I don't ride at night so its never bothered me but the bikes due for rego soon so I need to get it sorted.
    Cheers

Just had a look at the headlight.  It must be an original American one cos it says on it  SEALED BEAM
The female plug has three spade connectors and  the headlight has three male spade fittings.
So I need a new headlight.  Where can I get one ?
No doubt somebody will have one in the shed. If you do please contact me.  The bike is a 2002 fatboy but I would imagine other models should fit.
    Cheers

Might not be any good. The deuce light is 5 1/4 (about 14.5 cm) and I think the other standard size is 7

Dropped in to my local bloke after work and he had one on the shelf.
$65 and if it blows again I can replace the bulb. So youse can all stop looking for your old headlights!
    Thanks Oldy
    Thanks Steelo
