I've taken tha tank of my 09 Fatboy just to have a look and do a cleanup, I'm thinking of relocating the cowbell horn to the front of the bike ( Where the hole is at the front of the frame ) See pic 2 , Does Harley or anyone make an extension for the wiring ?
I'm going to find another mount and modify it so it won't have the horn mount between the heads.

2016-17 lowrider S horn and extension cable will sort you out, that's what I used on my 2016 slim S to move the horn there.

Just wanted to clean it up a bit, Got a set of Accel Stealth Coils coming from the States so the original Coil will go also as will the bracket that holds the original coil.

Got a Mate in the States who runs a Harley Repair shop, Cost me delivered here $200.00 Aus Brand New.
He's been running a set for over a year and reckons they are Gold.

I moved the horn to the front, Sparky mate made an extension for  the wiring and it all works.
Instead of cutting the engine mount between the heads I cut the horn mount on the Mill and put it on, It looks Ok.

Looks good. Just make sure the front fender doesn't touch on (full) compression.
I moved mine to a similar location  on my FXR and it fowled on the fender under heavy braking (have since moved it back a bit).

Hi, I have done the exact same thing, and first attempt was similar to yours and I received a nice scratch in my fender for my trouble, second attempt was better, lowered the placement with a bracket so that the hooter is recessed in to the gap between the frame and the ABS module. I’ll post a picture.

That looks much better mate, I'll make up a bracket do as you did.
One other thing the Clamp I took of the fuel cross over line had a pinch clamp on it, Where do buy those and the the tool to crimp it.

I did not! The cost of the tool and the rings were more expensive than the crossover pipe I bought from HD. Now when I remove the crossover line I buy a couple of $5 seals and reuse the pipe with its screw fittings.
