did a test to see if AMSOIL ran cooler

G Day, well a mate has been telling me how good AMSOIL is & how it can run at extreme temps, also it runs cooler.
I really did not believe it all but I always run Redline full synthetic in my twin cam and it was the best I've ever used. but I can't seem to buy the oil reline make for Harleys that I used. so thought I'd give it a try in my sporty . the Penrite HPR30 20w 60w mineral with extra zinc, has been working ok, & I only did an oil & filter change not long ago.
so as I was in Sydney I bought a box of AMSOIL that had 12 US quart bottles. yesterday I get bike out ride 60k to warm up the oil, when I get home I get the info red temp and check oil tank temp while motor still idling & I check rear barrel temp & front barrel temp, then turn off motor, drop the oil take filter off. leave it an hour to drain. new filter and 3 us Quart of AMSOIL V-Twin 20  50. fire her up and go for an 80k ride get home motor idling take temp reading of oil tank ( old girl has a metal oil tank not plastic like the new sporty ) oil tank 10c cooler with the AMSOIL take temp reading of front and rear barrels motor still idling barrels 17c cooler with the AMSOIL. motor feels very responsive ( always does but could notice it wanted to just go even more ) will be doing final tune ( still on run in tune ) on Dyno soon, have done 17,000k since rebuild of this motor. when I get to dyno I'll know how good the carb is jetted and raise the rev limit. then drags. I'm sold on this oil so will stick to it but it is very pricy!!
Also was talking to a friend that rides an XB Buell, those bikes have a big box section alloy frame that blocks a lot of air flow from motor, they use air cooled sporty, his is 07, 08 till the stopped making them use oil cooling. his one has a fan that turns on when motor gets hotter. he went o same AMSOIL as I'm using and he lives inner city Sydney, so lot of traffic. he was saying since changing to AMSOIL the fan done not come on as often.
if an oil is cutting temps down, it means it is also cutting friction, so helps make more HP&TQ too.
