Hi, I was talking with a shop the other day about a catchpot setup and mentioned about routing them downstream of the oxygen sensors. Anyone heard of this before? I suppose it would provide a vacum effect and the crap that would normally go to the intake would just burn off in exhaust headers.
    Cheers
Well got it done and happy with finish and maybe by seat of the pants little more oomph.  Bloody pics on there side, dunno computers.

So I have a 2 into 1 D&D Fat Cat exhaust. Do you reckon she’d be a no go.

+1 or into a small catch can - easy enough to make with some old exhaust pipe.

I mentioned this some time ago in another thread about a Vac-U-Pan style breather I will do it on mine when time permits

I did notice that on your system there is no one way valve, I think its a must you can use a single one in the line running down to the pipe from memory S&S make a valve suitable

when I get time I will find the valve that I looked at using and post up a part number

Cheers Rocket. I would have thought the need for the check valve would be minimal as the system provides a venturi effect. Gas would follow the path of least resistance, but on the other hand I guess you have pistons going up and down providing I guess a sucking effect on the down stroke.  Is that what your getting at?  The bike feels to me like it revs a little easier, slightly different note at idle. I'm thinking about doing it to my M8 Tourer which I have had to go back to the Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner ( from the Arlen Ness Big Sucker) due to oil down the side of panniers on a long hard run.

Rodrocket, look in my photos, it gives the part numbers and description of how to route an outer breather.
The engine does not need a separate exhaust assisted case vent system, it already has one built in.

    Cheers.
