Hi, I’ve just bought a 2004 springer and need to move the pegs back at least an inch. Don’t quite want it mid range but can’t ride it comfortably the way it is as using my toes and stretching. Any ideas greatly appreciated 

Hi Mel. I have the same problem on my '03 Dyna. Tried modifying the mounts & controls to bring everything back but wasn't happy with the result. Now looking at having the seat reshaped to sit me forward instead.

What Roo said about the seat got me thinking, Harley make a reach seat that could maybe improve things a bit, part number is 52444-04A, Google it up and have a read of the blurb, just might be the answer you are looking for.

Don't think they make a reach seat to suit the '03, at least I couldn't find one on the HD site to suit that model. If anyone's got one I'd happily swap it for beer money.

Thanks guys. Mines a fxsts so that covers it but still not sure that’ll fix issue as don’t really want my feet so far forward.
