Building a bike

Hey Legends. Long story short, I was rear ended pretty hard on my 13 breakout. I'm fine, however I'm looking into buying the bike back from insurance as an ICV project if I get a good price.
Would just like to know about the Kraft tech frames, best one to suit my parts etc and what's involved after the bike has been assembled etc. I'm very mechanically minded though have not done a project this size before and csnt wait to get started if it's a reasonable idea.

Also what parts of the harley I can and cannot use

    Kind Regards

Have been down this rd myself but with evo softail ,
As for a kraftech frames there great  better made than a Harley frame in my opinion
Full steel not a combination of cast iron  / steel tube  in evos any way
As for later frames no idea  but  for what it’s worth if you’re getting a decent payout
Let them have the bike  and buy a new or newer bike  depending on $$$ you get
Anless you have that much invested in the wreckage already   As much
As you think the bike looks pretty salvageable it will be bent in places you can’t see
Buy eye and till you start bolting stuff up on the new frame   Which can turn
Into a money pit which you won’t get back at  all , and normally the insurance
Will want a good dollar for it  , but if you’re up to it and not in a rush
Go for it   I’ve got the same habit turning crap into a gem   You do see a lot
Of this same thing on gumtree guy’s doing it or not  finishing it
than expecting wha5 they have invested in back  example $20k
In a bike which is not complete or regoed  when can get one  on the road for
Between $18k  to $22k  example  but like said  if it’s a budget build
And you get it back for a good price  bring on the rattle can paint job every day
    Work hack lol

The above from perthhog is true.
Don't know your level of experience but it can be the brackets, axles, bolts etc on the guards, triple tree, tank & other fittings that will not quite line up - can drive you nuts when trying to build a bike.
