Ive seen all the Breakouts with the rear fender kits and yeah they look good but being the tight ass that I am, didnt want to pay the $700+ for one so i macguyvered one with a $7 piece of alloy and some led strip. All up cost me about $40 and 3 hours of work. Does it look as good, probably not but its cheap and effective. The money saved will go to more fuel and beers. Save your $$ folks and have a crack yourself

Was the first mod I did on mine too, don't have any better pics. Kept the whole bracket hidden away under the fender, looks like the number plate is just floating there. Used some scrap metal I had laying around and a $6 LED off eBay...

Sorry but I don't get it.  You have a 20K+ bike and you don't want to spend the coin to really finish the arse end?  I'm not having a go but I think a nice bike deserves to look good. Just my opinion.....

The photos look a bit pooh, Ill have to get a better one. It looks good to me. 

I completely agree mate, which is why I made my own that in my opinion looks better than the aftermarket options available. I don't like the numberplate surround that has lights and indicators built into it...
