After almost a two month wait on backorder from the states, I’m well impressed and was totally worth it!

Managed to get over a weeks worth of riding in before it threw up the engine light (ECM), needs a tune. She’s going in for her first 1,600km service tomorrow, with a Maximus Tune Key and a Rocker Box seal replacement on the front jug as it seems to be weeping a bit which is a common problem from what I’ve read.

Will get some better photos up soon, but so far only a few modifications including Bikecraft fender eliminator tail tidy and Whiplash Speed Co OEM style shorty levers.

Yeah whats the deal with that, my 107 did exactly the same with stage 1 upgrade.

Engine light came on and noticed it running a little rough just before 1600klm first service.
Now i can't even ride it into the shop to get its first service!

Seemed a bit odd it didn’t throw a code straight away after pipes install. Was running mint, with just a slight pop on deceleration as I believe it’s running a little lean. Hopefully o2 sensors and plugs are all good and should be sweet after tune reflash.
Was speaking with Rod the Service Manager at Perth HD and he suggested calling the roadside assistance to get it to the workshop, might be an option for you Joelzy?

I just disconnected the battery for a bit and it cleared the code.

You can read the code via the odometer on the tourers , interested to see what code its sending

If you hold the trip button whilst turning on ignition it boots with diagnostic mode. Only shows “Y” or “N” for fault, in my case a Y for ECM.

Was o2 sensor from the larger headers as I thought. All sorted with tune at service.

How are you finding the Sportster Bullant?
Big swing from a Softy to Sporty. I’d look ridiculous riding one at 6’1 and 90 odd kilograms, so didn’t even consider them myself.

Yeah they seem great value for money, substantially less than the softails. Unsure of pricing but it might be worth looking into Kinetic Motorcycles, as they build some pretty wild and wonderful pipe work for Sportsters.

They also do bars, intakes and all things Sportster.
Yeah mint. Super stoked with my selection. May decide later to remove heat shields and wrap headers but for now I’m happy.
