Any thoughts on trickle chargers? I've got a quantum 4 but my partner's ctek doesn't have an sae connector so having to share atm. Any preferable models?
Thanks

Have a look at what JayCar have to offer. I got a trickle charger for them and its as good as my Harley one at a fraction the price.

Ctek here too. Bike battery wouldn't survive winter without it.

Bought this 'Projecta AC800' battery charger from Repco a few years back.
Quite basic, was cheap enough, can't remember price exactly, but good for for around 8 amps peaks or so (if you are testing bikes's lights or indicators etc), can charge a flat battery & also good for trickle charge.
Cheap enough so added a few improvements- analog ammeter, digital voltmeter & voltmeter switch, backlit on/off switch, 10A circuit breaker, plug-in leads/sockets, longer leads with improved clamps.
If you're buying a charger you may as well get something that will charge your truck, car or bike battery from flat, as well as provision of a trickle charge.

True although those features are not unique as many trickle chargers do exactly the same thing

Plus quick connect so U don't need to lift seat to connect
.
I hear this all the time.
I have never had to remove a seat to charge a battery, that goes for any old charger. Negative charger lead connect to a good clean frame bolt, positive charger lead goes to the big terminal post on the starter motor - this post has the cable that goes directly to the battery positive terminal!

good to know ,handy info for those with out charging point... C-Tech chargers are a good investment & you only have to lift the seat once to connect the wires that have the charging housing , tuck out of the way when not in use ,easy to plug in later

Yep will work fine if you can get to it Dynas have bit more room around the starter
Than other bikes , I have three different charges. A $900 snapon charger
A small Arlec charger. And a cheaper version Ctek charger have had it
For about 6 years now and it’s one my better investments I use it on
All my multiple vehicles. I also use the ctek. Comfort led indercator
Leads which you leave on or wire into the vehicle Well worth it
For the $20 And just move the charger around from vehicle to vehicle
As needed and leave on it for a few days and let do it’s thing
And I Don’t need to remove my seats of my bikes either as I
Run the plug so you can see the leds and just plug it if I’m walking past
Since I’ve been doing it this way I’ve fond my battery’s are lasting
Longer in all of them part of the problem to many toys and not
Enough hours in the day lol
