    I did it back in 2010.
    Stayed at the Buffalo Chip camp ground.Spent 4 days in the area.
    Best trip ever Saw ZZ Top, Bob Dylan,kid Rock,Aranthie plus many other bands etc.
    Hired a Ultra Glide from San Francisco and rode all the way to Sturgis, from Sturgis rode through Yellow Stone Park,Oregon I think 8 different states down highway 1 through the giant redwood trees over the  Golden Gate.
    Did 4,400 miles the HD did not miss a beat.
    If you get a chance just do it you will have a ball,don't forget ride on the right side of the road (remember tight right long left on the road).
