I use a go pro mounted to the bars when riding and it works a treat, can spin it 360 degrees for some side or reverse action, good fun when riding with others. Now my problem is when I put the wind splitter screen on the bike, this is a rare occasion, but when its on it takes up half the shot on the camera.  I have looked around for something else but haven't really found anything Im completely happy with.  RAM mounts come close with some of their mounts which I actually use for mounting a Power Vision.  It will sort of allow me to mount the camera to the bars and extend it sideways a little to get around the screen.  Not ideal, as I want to keep the mount as short as possible to keep vibration to a minimum.  Short of mounting the camera via a mount stuck on the screen, again not ideal, has anyone got any ideas to get around this.  Thought there might be some go pro experts out there ?? Dont want to mount it to my helmet and look like a complete knob.
Pic so you can see my dilemma.

I had the same problem when I tried using it on my Electra glide.
I get a better aspect when using a chest mounted holder.

Something like this may screw into/through your screen.

Cut a hole in the screen directly in front of the go-pro.  Your welcome.

Hi binnsy. I’ve got a ram mount I just put on the ultra. Attaches to underside hang grip on the mirror bolt. I was going to use it for second gps or phone x mount. Would let you swing the pv in toward risers or go pro out past the screen. Don’t forget you have the balanced motor so vibration not going to be as bad. I’ll take pics Tomoz with the ram and go pro mount attached.
Other than that, cut a hole in the screen in front of the GoPro.

Go Pro pictures taken mounted on the front right windshield screw of Ultra Limited.

You can just see the ball mount that replaces the shield screw.

Sorry binnsy. Looked at it today but the arms would need to be long to reach out past my screen. May be suitable for your application thinking about it. Will post soon. Sorry for delay.

As a side note. Modest Mounts, Victoria.  Best prices on RAM mounts by far so i see.

This is what I ended up doing,  using RAM mounts. Mirror mount,  cheap, easy and will do the job. Can rotate it in any direction and can even tuck it in behind the screen away from the bugs.
Happy with how it turned out. On and off on seconds.

Hey Binnsy - do you notice the vibes coming through the footage when rolling or at idle?

Haven't tried it out yet. The old one I had in the pic here was pretty good. Just wanted something more solid, and something I could shoot around the screen with. Will give it a try soon if the arctic weather ever stops down here.
