New to HD. Can't wait!

    Hi there guys, just about to buy my first Harley (Fat Bob 114). Can't wait for the decent weather to come in!

    Welcome to the forum. There is a recent post (in the Motorcycle News section) advising Fraser's is closing down in Perth at the end of Aug - see if you can get a great deal there (will save them sending any leftover stock over east)

    Hi there, many thanks for the info. Indeed I went in yesterday and the store looked very, very bare. I asked what was going on and the answer I got was evasive to say the least. They described it as "shrinkage". They were going to do a deal for me but I got severely put off by their attitude. I guess they've just lost the will to continue. Only bikes outside were HDs, very few inside and all the bikes were filthy,  as in layers of thick dirt on them. 
    So sad to see a once great,  and favourite shop of mine going like that.

    So Perth HD will get my business instead (and they did an even better deal for me). I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

    Nice first HD to start with. I purchased my Highway pegs there a couple of years ago when I was over there for work.

    Welcome to the forum mate. Sure you'll enjoy the ride you end up with, as they are very addictive and a blast. 
    If you didn't know wat to do with spare cash you just wait until you get one.....

    I've been waiting for this for so many years! The test ride confirmed my suspicions that this is going to be the beginning of one very happy addiction! Bring it on!!! ??????
