    Syn 3 in the engine
    Bell oil in primary
    Gearbox oil Penrite synthetic 75-90W

All seems to work well. But others will tell you differently.

On the assumption you really want a sensible answer most oil companies have a recommended oil for your bike, if you are a bit cleverer you can pick one using the Harley oil specifications and match them with an oil that meets or exceeds them, as for what brand is best, put on your hard hat, incoming :)

    True, oils ain't oils.
Yes, may as well also ask everyone what are the best tyres and best battery to use.

Bingo. If it's good enough for the factory, it's good enough for me. I put 180,000 kms on an Evo using it, still going strong when it went to its new home.

Mobil1 for the engine, HD oils for the rest.
I like synthetic oil for the engine but wasn't happy with Syn3 - engine seemed louder. Did plenty of research and Mobil1 kept coming up and its available in my area. I'm happy with it all in my Dyna.

Every 5,000km i do my engine oil and filter.  Every 10,000 i do tranny/primary. Every 2,500 I do airfilter.  Easy to remember as the numbers are all rounded.

Penrite every time. HD don't own oil factories - Penrite gives Australians jobs.  We have nearly fucked or sold off every old Oz industry. Support the one's left that are still Australian owned and provide a world standard product.
