I was pushing my new M8 Heritage out of the shed last weekend and I went to line it up to go down the side of my house and accidentally kissed the rear guard onto my colour bond fence and KABANG !!!! The chrome strip that surrounds the rear guard just popped off.
I picked it up and it's that light you can barely feel it in your hand. Talk about chatty quality!!!
I'm pissed. I expected a bit more quality from a big dollar bike.
It was a fairy tap too. I'm hoping it's not a sign about the rest of the bike.

Rode down to my dealer yesterday, showed 'em the new piece of plastic chrome with no clips. The parts guy just shook his head in disgust, apologised and went out back and gave me the clips.
I've had 5 hd's so far and always was impressed with the parts I've ordered in that they come with an instruction sheet and everything you need to fit.
    Times must be changing.

True, we have to resist a generalising thinking that all dealers don't treat customers with respect.
