    Think I am missing something here.
    Have you now got 2 master cylinders?, the original with that 90degree angle bit fitted to it and the little plastic one too.

    Is this a solution to some problem that doesn't exist for most? I presume access can be a little awkward without correct tools?
    Or checking fluid level is difficult (not something I would check often though).

    No, The original master cylinder and reservoir is still there. I've just "Extended" the reservoir so that it's easier to see how much oil I have and easier to top up. I never have to open the original reservoir again; as long as there is oil visible in the plastic reservoir I know that the original reservoir is full.

    No, I have two reservoirs.

    Fair enough.
    It is a free world.
    Not sure what model bike you have but it must be a hassle to top the standard master cylinder up for you to go to that trouble.
    My old guzzi actually had a warning light on the dash to let you know when the brake fluid level was low. Never saw that light turn on in 34 years.

    I never have to open the original reservoir again.....  it's not very often needs opening!?
    Anyway - I suppose everyone has their own mods

    If thats the only purpose, why not use tygon tube?

    Because it still wouldn't be easy to fill/top up
