I have had my second turn signal break the thread off the bracket. Needless to say I was pretty annoyed considering the first time it happened I stupidly paid another $400 plus to get a new bracket kit and light fitted. Disappointing considering the price. It had never been bumped or damaged in any way. First time it happened was riding on very rough roads in Sarina QLD. Second was done on good roads in Brissy! Looks like good old rust played its part.

Anyway I have just done the dodge and super glued it back together, but just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem also? I was think of shortening the length of the cross bar and welding the suckers on.

I cut the bar short, welded grade 8 bolts on, painted it up, never broke again, well not to date anyway.

Looks heaps better shortened up.
