Gidgi. I think you're a bit pessimistic about your current bikes' value. I traded a 2011 FLHRC with 35,000km on a brand new 2018 FLHX in February. $15K changeover! FLHX had Boom upgrade and premium shock upgrade installed. On RRP I was given $24K for the Road King, the figures are BS anyway but the change-over was too good to resist.

M8 makes 100HP/120TQ and despite the BS you hear, they are awesome to ride.

Agree with you Nutty, saw Gidgi's number crunch, as they would say at the Castle 'he dreamin', if correct a no brainer do the deal, tough on second hand bikes in the market place, whether dealer or private.

shit Nutty....  24k for a 2011 Roady can I ask is that from frasers Wollongong? ..... Haha keith always dreamin mate..but was saying  if sold for 20k privately it would be around  5k handover on a Demo.which are advertised  at 25-26k .....Wello yeah mate have seen the Rineharts on youtube today sound good ,have them on my Roadking.. ......Nutty Spose if you  were  to De Cat the original headers a good slip on  & a nice filter & Cam then you may be in the ball park for torque & power you spoke of, don`t think ya get them when stock, but glad you love your new ride mate

I understand when people buy the latest and greatest they sometimes feel the need to talk them up, you see it all the time in magazines that suck hole to the manufacturer's so they get ride days etc, oh your new bike is so superior to last years old hat, mostly it's just hype.
Couple of sheet's to compare, call me whatever you like but unless you can show otherwise I'll go with this sort of proof and my own ride experience on the bikes.

This one is a stage one Rushmore 103 compared to a stage 1 M8 107, better early torque, no surprise there.

This one, well you can read the notes, not even close to 100/120.

They are a good engine and respond really well to a cam swap but stock they are not earth shattering by any stretch of the imagination no matter what the bike mags say.

Those apparently are .. black freedom declaration turnouts ,

The other ones are .. Rinehart muffler that fit on the original headers .. but needs support bracket mod.

Those pipes look HUGE! Are they just heat shields or are they straight 2" pipes the whole way? I actually like the look of it just curious how they would sound/run.

Yeh they don’t appear to have heat Sheilds like the other so pretty sure they are as big as the look .. I expect they are deafening as well ??
