If they have any VRod Night Rod Specials at the shop, have a look at their mirrors, the mirror shape is identical but the angling of the shaft holding the mirror is different.

Will be more expensive but it will be a neater look.

I my solved my problem by making extenders and they work perfectly. Used 5mm thick, 25mm wide aluminum plate and fashioned as i went along.

Not sure how you ended up here but I decided on bar ends to fix the issue - OEM which are a great fit and good size.

They add to the overall look of the bike too.
