Will 2012 Fatboy Lo Screaming Eagle Shotgun exhausts fit 2016 Fatboy Lo

    Hi Guys,
Question as above. Was thinking of taking the screaming eagle shotguns off the 2012 and keeping them for my 2016, and putting the standard 2016 pipes on the 2012. The 2012 is up for sale and I don’t want it to go with the shotgun pipes if they will fit the 2026 and be a possible fallback to avoid the yellow canary which at some stage my V&H BR’s are going to attract.
Thanks for your input and advice.

If your talking whole system yep, mufflers would depend if it's the same header set up.

Was thinking of just using the mufflers, they detach like slip ons. The shotguns may in fact only been slip ons, I cannot find any information on the Screaming Eagle shotguns anywhere, hence I’ve resorted to the forum for advice from people like you, thank you grease monkey.
It seems to me that the baffles are removable via two safe torx bolts on each muffler, which gives me hope that I can play with them to get a different sound etc. if I want to. They are not loud at all, almost sound same as stock. But they look heaps better. The OD of both headers are the same. I guess I could swop the entire system if I wanted to, both systems are in pristine condition.

If it's got screws it comes apart, you're golden.
