About 8 years ago was 3 days at phillip island , , had a good few days , managed to score a ticket it the marshals area , went on my own , everyone was freindly , campfire every night , lots of beer drank , food stall short walk away , bands and bar even shorter all in all great weekend , Come time to leave , packed the bike up , said goodbye , and shook hands with everyone i had met , some real nice people has well ,, Was just about too leave and guys next to me in a big familly tent with kitchen , bedrooms , ect ect ,, Said ,, Heh what about your tent and gear ,, bag , chair , campng stuff ..all brand new i bought just for that trip ... I said ,, You can have it , from now on , if its not got hotel /motel above the door , i'm not going in ... Now i'm even fussier , if its not next to a bar with meals i ain't going in .

Life can be hard enough without making it harder for yourself LOL

Continue the run down to Cape Jervis Hotel. 20 minutes. Biker friendly, park outside your room, great food, if all rooms are taken they have a camping area and there’s cabins over the road. Good spot.
