Failed speedo

    I have a 98 softail an was left in the sun for years till I got it , I can’t read the lcd adometer from sun fade. Can this be fixed?

    If the lcd. Check battery and electrical connections to instrument. If it’s the plastic lens / glass full use some metal polish. Good luck

    Looks burnt more than anything.will try what you suggested though steelo

    You might need to explain the problem more or post a photo.
     I've also got a 1989 Softail and everything is old school in terms of speedo drive, needle, winde on odometer and globe. Are you saying the clear glass or whatever the cover is made of is difficult to read? There shouldn't be any lcd display?

    Can you read it at night ie is the back light coming on?
