Make sure you sit the filter inside a catch-can behind the rear axle line Mick. Anything above 107ci and/or stage II and/or 3000rpm will push oil out the filter.
Ask me how I know... :/)

My box vent, primary vent and remote sump vent all go to the same can.

    The A1 vents DO work.

Hey Mickle, does your breather unit dump any oil?

I fitted one to my M8 Ultra as per instructions and it spewed oil over rocker box and throttle body after a prolonged 130kph run.
I maybe had a smidge more oil in sump then they recommend do have lowered to where they say to be, and re-routed the hose up over the ABS and down to in front of the swing arm .

Yet to test it out after the lowering of oil level and repositioned the hose and filter.

I’ll be pissed if it spews oil when ridden over 3000rpm as Nutty says.

Mine and Chinas spewed because we didn't follow the instructions, I have removed mine, China reinstalled his following the
install instruction to the letter and guess what? no more spewing oil. I have been going to reinstall mine with the lowered oil
but haven't got around to it, it does work.

All the years I've been riding Harleys ( mostly big twins ) I've always had external breather, put into catch can if drag racing . I put those little s&s one way valve's into the hoses ( I run two hose's ) but old day's was one as breathed out the crank. those little filters on end just turn them into a spray gun. you don't need them.

Thanks Mickle and Krash. I was amazed at the difference in oil level reading I got when you turn ignition off when bike upright to having it idle on side stand then turn off. I think that was the mistake I made. I also ordered a catch can from DK Cutom.

Went for a good run today 500km at not so legal speeds and no oil issues this time .
